snow

This is a picture of my back yard. the four small spots are the top of a retaining wall in the backyard that is about 3 ft tall.

Okay I official hate snow. I know that I was so waiting for it and I wanted the first white christmas for my kids, but really 30+ inches is a little much. I am getting tired of spending my days blowing my driveway clear. This weekend I was finally getting a hand on the ice that came a few weeks ago on my driveway. Although the snow was packed on top of it and made it fine to get up the driveway. It is still a pain. So tomorrow I will be out with the snow blower again. I think I am going to have to go get gas for it soon. I don't want to me stuck in the house and no gas for it.

Other than that Christmas is this weeekend and I am not ready for it. I have been through enough holidays without Mark but this one hurts a lot. I guess it because the kids are showing their feelings more. Before they have been so small that they didn't show it. I still need to go shopping for Santa. I am hoping to go this week. I am also looking forward to hearing his voice or maybe an email or two. He has been slacking in that department. but that isn't anything new.

My house cleaners started this past weekend. That was great. They are cleaning the places I hate to clean the most. The kitchen, 3 bathrooms, stairs and dusting. Mark hired them for me to come once a month and if needed. I do a good job keeping it clean but I hate doing the on my knees cleaning. They are my aunt and her friend, a small two person cleaning fairies. Its something small on the side job. I also love having more adult interaction. If only once a month.
