So this week has been a busy week here in San Diego with a week full of rain. Here at our house we only got a little over 3 inches of rain and only lost power one time for about an hour. Although it was only an hour it happened to fall just I had the pasta half done on the stove (which still worked since it was gas) and I had just put the Texas toast in the oven. But we did get to have a candle light dinner which was romantic.

This week is also the 2 year anniversary since Henry's trip to St Marys. I am thankful everyday that is wasn't life threatening but still was super scary to see him so sick. I am glad to say that he is now a happy healthy 2 year old. He is weighing in at 37.6 pounds and is 3 feet tall. He is going to be a tall boy.

Henry is now 6 weeks into his twice a week speech therapy. He is expanding his words every time we go. We are also learning some sign language, to help with the communicating. Although I was very proud to hear him use his first two word combo. Wednesday Mark had taken the truck to work and left us with no car and we went to the garage to get the stroller to walk Makalia to school and he walked into the garage expecting to see the truck and said "No Car". It was super cute!

Makalia is finally back in school after a month long winter break. (way to long for mom!) She enjoys having the structure of school and being around friends.
