ready set.....GO!

So speech started yesterday, it went well for the short time we were there. Henry did okay, he stayed on task for most part. He didn't have any temper tantrums during but when it was time to go he wasn't ready.

One thing that is frustrating is that they only have him going for 15 minutes twice a week. In San Diego he was going 30 minutes twice a week and that was working for us. I am going to bring this up at my parent meeting Friday. If that is all they are going to give him I am going to get a referral and go to the therapy center for speech. 15 minutes doesn't seem like enough time. He barely said anything maybe 10 words.

So today we are having our first In home therapy to work on sharing and social skills. Will blog later how that goes. From what i read this is 45 minutes twice a week till he starts school next month. Then he will go to school one day a week and in home therapy will be one day a week.

Other than that the past weekend was nice being able to talk to husband. Although for short times due to time difference and crappy signal with skype. I will take any call vs no call. Another great thing is its half way point so that is a good thing. Now its time to plan for homecoming and getting plane tickets purchased soon, but not soon enough cause schedules are never set in stone. I am also going to be stalking the mail box waiting for my package of goodies he sent....YEAH! I am excited to see the snow melting here and spring around the corner. I can't wait to be able to get outside more to play.
